Review for 2020.

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone due to the coronavirus pandemic. We responded to the crisis early in the year and offered our customers extended payment periods to ease our customers' ability to cope with difficult times.

Despite the difficult situation, we made significant server updates during the year, and all our services now operate on up-to-date super-efficient servers. This enabled, among other things, significant power increases for different hosting solutions.

All servers also made a lot of updates to efficiency and security. We are constantly working on the best possible operation of servers and exceptionally good security.

The online disk service experienced a return to our range during 2020 and the service was well received.

Our continued work on data security, features and standards brought fruit when we were assessed as a full five-star domain name broker by Traficom (FINA).

Guidelines for 2021.

In 2021, we will continue to develop our services strongly in terms of features, efficiency and data security.

We will modernise our ordering and customer system by significantly increasing their automation. During 2021, the new ordering system will enable, among other things, the immediate delivery and payment of orders directly when placing the order. Automation will be added to the various functions of the customer system in order to avoid unnecessary delays in the most common functions (data updates, etc.).

During 2021, we will also expand to the international market by offering our services in English as a whole.

2021 will also be a anniversary, when suncomet's founding will be 20 years old!

Weebly's exit from supply and use.

During 2020, Weebly's operations have had significant problems for numerous users. Weebly's interpretation of the terms of the contract has allowed Weebly to avoid liability for problems and disruptions. We have been negotiating with Weebly for a long time to fix the problems, but without result. We have lost confidence in Weebly's operations and can no longer recommend it to anyone.

As a result, Weebly will be completely removed from our range during 2021. Users of the free Weebly package are recommended to switch to SitePad or WordPress. Weebly paid sites are transferred free of charge to an optimized WordPress platform.

The pages made on Weebly will continue to operate even after Weebly's exit, but the pages will no longer be able to be changed after Weebly's exit. Similarly, the contact forms will stop working. We will provide further information on Weebly's exit and its schedule during the first half of the year.

Change in the form of a company.

Suncomet's corporate form has changed on 1 January 2021. The change has taken place in accordance with the continuity principle (Section 24 of the Income Tax Act), in which case the company's assets and liabilities are transferred as such. The change does not require any action from our customers and all contracts will continue in accordance with the continuity principle.

The purpose of the change in the form of a company is to enable, among other things, expansion into international markets.

As a result of the change in the form of a company, the Business ID and VAT number have changed. The new Business ID is 3170518-5 and the new VAT number is FI31705185. The official name of the company is Suncomet Oy.

The general terms and conditions of Suncomet's services have been updated in accordance with the change.
