Domain pricing is changing
Due to continuous price changes in several domain name registries, stabilizing the prices of different extensions has become challenging, which is why we will gradually transition to more dynamic pricing during December 2025. Fully dynamic pricing will be in effect starting January 2, 2026. The prices of the most common domain name extensions (.fi, .com, .net, .org, .eu, and .info) will be stabilized and kept as stable as possible now and in the future. The prices of other extensions will be updated daily and will directly follow changes in registry prices. For the majority of extensions , this means a significant price reduction, but some extensions will also see a price increase. The dynamic price list can be foundatsuncomet. The change clarifies pricing and ensures that our customers always get the most competitive price possible.
Traficom prices
Traficom the annual price of .fi domains by three (3) euros with a regulation that will come into effect on January 1, 2026. In addition, Traficom charging domain name registrars an annual fee of 400 euros. As a result, the annual price of .fi domain names will increase from €14.40 to €16.80 starting on January 2, 2026. To the benefit of our customers, the annual price excluding VAT will only increase by €2.40 instead of Traficom's €3.00 increase. Domain names can always be renewed for five years at a time, so we recommend that our customers renew their domain names for as long as possible before the price increase. By contacting our customer service before January 2, 2026, we can renew your domain name for as long as possible at the old price.
The price of online invoicing decreased
We reduced the VAT-free price of e-invoicing from three euros to two euros thanks to savings achieved through system upgrades. We passed on the savings directly to our customers in the form of lower prices.
